Austin Christopherson Memorial

The Austin Christopherson memorial was run Saturday September 5th at ASA member track Meridian Speedway.

Eighteen Legends lined up to take the green flag in the 40 lap main event honoring August 2006 Racing for Smiles of the Northwest honoree Austin Christopherson who passed away shortly after he was honored.

Ben Matheson blazed to the front and took a resounding victory. 

He led the field to the checkered flag and took home the trophy.

After the main event, Legend drivers came to the stands helmet in hands to ask for donations to be split fifty fifty between Racing for Smiles and MDA. 

Over $900 was raised for these two great causes.
